Asia voices concern on Myanmar

Myanmar's military rulers have received a discreet prod from Singapore either to push ahead with promised political reforms or to give up its turn to act as chairman of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations. Singapore's diplomatic approach to Myanmar in part reflects mounting pressure in the United States to boycott Asean meetings if Myanmar does not step aside.
