  • Peace  ( 63 items )
Nothing comes close to the horrors of war. From the start of humankind there has always been a multitude of wars being fought at any one time. With regret, war is sometimes a necessary evil, but should always be an absolute last option. Peaceful solutions should always be sought, because the human cost of the alternative is far too great and long lasting. For this reason Cosmic Fantasia provides for you it's Peace News section.

  • Human Rights  ( 207 items )
Human Rights are rights of persons to freedom of speech and conscience, equal treatment, work and health, among others, as defined in Universal Declaration adopted by the UN in 1948, supplemented by 1960s Covenants on social, economic, political, and civil rights. In ours words, we believe Human Rights is everybody's right to a “Fair Go”. We believe if Human Rights were the norm, then everybody would have the opportunity to work hard to create a better life for themselves and their families. We provide our Human Rights News section, so that people can keep up to date with current Human Rights News.

  • Environment  ( 186 items )
For all of civilisation human kind has believed that planet earth is an open frontier endowed with inexhaustible resources. We now know this is wrong, and currently a more appropriate analogy is that we are all living on a space ship with an overstressed biological life-support system on the verge of collapse. We need to get the balance on “Space Ship Earth” right again, so that consumption of natural material and energy resources are in balance with the regenerative capacities of nature. Cosmic Fantasia is proud to bring you Environment News so you can keep track of important environmental happenings.

  • Fair Marketplace  ( 85 items )
Some say money is the root of all evil. Cosmic Fantasia tends to believe that it is some peoples use of money that is evil and not money itself. Money is a a medium of exchange which acts as an intermediary market good which can be traded and exchanged for other goods, which used side by side with barter forms the basis of the Marketplace. A Fair Marketplace is when greed is taken out of the equation and everybody can share in some sort of ownership in their endeavours. We invite you to visit here often for up to date News on the evolution of the Fair Marketplace.

  • Media  ( 37 items )
Media, in short, is a means of communicating information. The concentration of media ownership has been going ahead at a rapid pace for many years now. These days 'most' main stream media is sourced and owned by just a few multi-national conglomerates. When these sources have agendas to only make more money, then information turns into disinformation. Through our articles and analysis of the media we attempt to do our little bit, to bring real information being communicated to the people.

  • Health Care  ( 102 items )
If everybody has their health then anything is possible. Today there are most of the answers out there to prevent you from getting sick in the first place, and if you do get sick or injured to get fixed up. But with the conflicting views from almost all sections of the Health profession you wouldn't think so and it is easy for people to not know what to believe. We believe that mutual respect and understanding between traditional medical practitioners and natural health practitioners must be achieved. The people need the different factions of the health profession to know their particular strengths and weaknesses and be truthful enough to recommend a different approach when needed. We hope that our Health Care News section, helps a little bit, in this, one of our most important struggles.

  • Science and Technology  ( 93 items )
Science and Technology has and will continue to shape humankind. We must understand though that science is only a method of trying to prove what already is and isn't the be all and end all. We should also make sure that public debate on new technologies are discussed and not just unleashed on us all just for technologies sake. As technology will define our existence in some way shape or form, it is also very important that a Digital Divide between technology haves and have-nots isn't further created. For this reason Cosmic Fantasia support open source software and the creation of open information systems for the betterment of humankind. For up to date, Science and Technology News please remember to return here often.

  • World Perspective  ( 495 items )
There is just so much happening in this great big world of ours. In our World Perspective section we strive to bring you News from around the World which either do not get the attention they deserve, or issues that we simply believe need as much attention as possible.
