This thread discusses the Content article: Transgenic Mosquitoes Enlisted in Fight Against Malaria

This is an interesting concept. CSIRO in Australia are also strving to do a similar thing to stop cane toads evolving from their tad poles.

But in every other way that man has tried to meedle with nature, they seam to stuff it up. Do others think this could be a good or ad thing?

And if people think it's a ad thing, would it be worse than eliminating or greatly reducing malaria?
