Some say money is the root of all evil. Cosmic Fantasia tends to believe that it is some peoples use of money that is evil and not money itself. Money is a medium of exchange which acts as an intermediary market good which can be traded and exchanged for other goods, which used side by side with barter forms the basis of the Marketplace. A Fair Marketplace is when greed is taken out of the equation and everybody can share in some sort of ownership in their workplace. Greenpeace
Greenpeace is a non-profit organisation, with a presence in 40 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific. Greenpeace has been campaigning against environmental degradation since 1971 when a small boat of volunteers and journalists sailed into Amchitka, an area north of Alaska where the US Government was conducting underground nuclear tests. This tradition of 'bearing witness' in a non-violent manner continues today, and their ships are an important part of all their campaign work. They exist to expose environmental criminals, and to challenge government and corporations when they fail to live up to their mandate to safeguard our environment and our future.
UNEP - United Nations Environment Programme
UNEP, established in 1972, is the voice for the environment within the United Nations system. UNEP acts as a catalyst, advocate, educator and facilitator to promote the wise use and sustainable development of the global environment. To accomplish this, UNEP works with a wide range of partners, including United Nations entities, international organizations, national governments, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and civil society.
